Shine Team

When Micky Reilly, owner & founder of Shine informed Caine Brown that he'd booked Graeme Park, Jon Dasilva, K-Klass, Brandon Block & Paul Murray to DJ Shine's home, The Warehouse in Leeds on Easter Saturday 2013. Caine wanted to be creatively involved so Micky obliged & they began forging a perfect working relationship. More line up ideas were being thrown about adding to artiste & dates already booked in, so decision's were made then Micky & Caine agreed a stable work effort.

Including themselves they are now running a team covering the door, event management, internet and physical promotion such as flyer/poster distribution, media and website maintenance, photography and film crew, Shine's BBC plugger for shows on Radio 1 Pete Tong and Radio 2 Dave Pearce, event podcaster, active internet pushers along with a loyal team of ticket sales men. Depending on each gig the overall input ranges from 25 to 30 people being actively involved.

Then to add to all that The Warehouse provide the disposal of 9 men for an active hands on approach, from the careful planning of booked Shine dates to a continued artwork supply, alongside online tickets and promotion backed up by physical distribution. Then on the night their sound, lights and visual production team work direct with Shine keeping the events vibrant and at nothing less than 100% ensuring the sold out atmospheric House Music nights are constantly running to clockwork.

Since 2013 the relationship lasted two years before the brand became a victim of it's own success, Micky & Caine wanted to walk separate paths which includes time out to think up other potential futures. So with that Micky continues flying the Shine flag while Caine has retired his efforts at Shine. An amicable separation where both intend to remain life long friends cherishing Shine's fond party memories. Understandable given the working relationship had gone on to the top or as far as the mini team could take it.

So for now a 4 man unit run the ship & Micky remains approachable on Facebook so come along say hello, via the embedded links or Follow the Shine Twitter accounts, found on the website 'Contact' page.

Now that's what you call real value for money at Shine.
